Don Robinson

I'm a part time Knifemaker with a lifetime of experience as a tool and die maker and manufacturing engineer. I do all the work on my knives myself, including heat treating. I use an electric furnace with a fine programmable digital controller. I've been heat treating tool steels off and on for more than 40 years. I use the stock removal method and prefer to use premium steels such as ATS 34 or high carbon tool steels for the blades. Every blade is tested for proper hardness using my Rockwell type hardness tester.

I greatly enjoy the feeling of satisfaction I get from turning raw materials into a finished knife that has great utility and beauty.

My knives are custom made to order. You and I will agree on all the details before I start your knife.

I especially enjoy designing and making folders. I also make fixed blade knives of most kinds and once in awhile a fearsome self defense weapon. All fixed blade knives come with a Kydex sheath that I make to suit each individual knife. I'd like to invite you to visit my web pages. Look around, e-mail me from my web site, order a knife customized just for you, and make us both happy.

My best regards to you.
