Bernard Corsetti

Hello knife users, collectors and lovers. My name is Bernard Corsetti of Scottsdale Arizona. I produce custom knives using the stock removal method of knifemaking. I use only the finest steel and handle materials in crafting my knives. Even my E-mail address "ATS34" stands for the steel I use almost exclusively. This steel is specially formulated for custom knifemakers and double vacuum purified to give the one of the toughest, most rust resistant blades possible. This steel along with the professional heat treating and cryogenic process I use produces blades of exceptional durability and quality.

I do not concentrate on just one type of knife. I really enjoy grinding new and different knife shapes so you will see an ever changing set of blade shapes at my site. I have ground everything from Bowie knives to small utility knives, hunting knives, and fighting knives, with a few household butcher knives for good measure. I am a prolific reader and get many of the ideas I carve into metal from a variety of sources, including magazines and shows I attend. You will notice changes in my knife table contents from month to month as I experiment with the next new design. In fact if you have a design in mind you can send me an e-mail describing your project and we can discuss details.

My wife Karen, my personal Quality Control Department, is now applying her considerable artistic talents to knife engraving and scriming. We offer the service of engraving or scriming either my knife or your knife for a reasonable fee.

I have been lucky enough to be a member of the Arizona Knife Collectors Association where I have made the aquaintance of a number of the full time professional knifemakers that reside here in Arizona. They have been more than generous with their time and experience in assisting my learning experience. Based on my experiences I would have to go a long way to associate with a better, friendlier, more helpful class of people as I've found in knifemakers. I want to thank all the makers who have helped me both online and in person . I expect, like any knifemaker, this learning experience to be a lifelong journey.
