Like many other smiths I work a real job but find the need to create something pretty and useful that others enjoy. After being introduced to the craft by Bob Engnath, I've been making stock removal knives for several years and now also make pattern welded knives. I have special interest in very nice "working" tools for the field and carry.
Most work is in ATS-34, 440V, CPM 10V, and Vasco Wear and pattern welded steels of L6 or 15N20 and 1084/1095. Damascus patterns include twist, ladder, multiple bar Persian, and composites.
I have delivered kitchen knives, hunters, small to larger skinners, boot knives, Bowies, fighters and tantos. All knives are provided with high quality, hand sewn leather sheaths. Presentation kits with oak boxes and stones are shipped with high end pieces as well.

 | This high end fighter is an unusual L6/1095 precision ladder that has heavy 1095 lines in the billet. Pattern is quite fine, but dramatic! Fittings are bronze and Desert Ironwood.
