Ralph Turnbull

I have been creating knives since 1973. Mostly, I like to work in the CPM steels, ATS-34, and damascus, although I am open to almost any cutlery grade steel. My creations range from art knives to folders and everything in between. Usually, I incorporate traditional stock removal methods, but also include CNC, EDM, titanium nitriding, and anodizing in my work.

I am proud to say that I have won several Best in Show awards at knife shows over the years, and that I was the first American ever invited to display at the Seki City Knife Show in Japan. I have enjoyed my tenure as a member of the Knifemaker's Guild for 22 years. My most recent award was Ken Warner's "Wooden Sword Award" for 1999.
