Made first knife about 1955 in the shop of the family sawmill in East Texas. Chairman of the Board of a bank holding company that operates in the Pineywoods section of Texas north of Houston. Mayor of Livingston, Texas.

Voting member of the Knifemakers Guild.

Makes hunters and some kitchen knives on request. Material of choice: O-1, 440C and ATS 34. Even though highly finished, each knife is designed to be very functional in the field.
